Reflection2

This project has really been conducted for a long time. My partner and I run into some problem at the beginning, but then solved the problems through the discussion with professor and classmates. However, other problems occurred when we started to write annotation4; we could not find a strong and convincing evidence or theory to write in the paper. I think the reason why we run into the bottle neck is that we did not map out the structure of our research at the very beginning. After a long time searching, we both eventually find the evidences which can strengthen our points respectively.
I think it’s rather interesting that though my partner and I are standing in the opposite side, in the procedure of finding materials, when we find data which can prove other’s point, we would give other the informations. That is, though the opposite sides point of view we stand for, our points are completed by both of us. It makes me understand deeply one thing in many aspects.
The interaction with foreign students is also interesting, and they are used to ask questions after the presentation, which I think we should really learn. To invite foreign students to participate the course, we went to the final party. It’s a novel experience to make a pass with foreigners and they were all kind.

I was really nervous at the final presentation; it’s different from those previous presentations. And it almost freaks me out when I saw American students there. The most difficult part is not the report section, I think is the Q&A part. It’s unprepared for me, I must come up with the answer and digest the questions at the same time. It’s not easy but challengeable. But it’s really frustrating sometimes when I cannot answer the way they want, I got the answer in Chinese in my brain however I was not able to convey it out in English immediately. I think one of my homeworks after this whole project is practicing thinking in English instead of thinking in Chinese first then transmit it to English. All in all, I learned a lot and experienced a lot through this project this semester.
